This course was created to fill in the gaps of our current main-stream educations, and give you the tools you need to better serve your clients with a mix of traditional knowledge much of which has since become evidence based, and modern techniques. In addition, you will have a great foundation for pelvic health and wellness throughout the 4 trimesters of the childbearing year, what to do to support the health of the pelvis and pelvic floor in each trimester (including labor and birth), and have the screening tools to know when to refer out for additional care. While the concept and pelvic health is becoming more well known, by collectively emphasizing its importance we can make a big difference in the lives of our patients and clients, and help to create a paradigm shift of care for mothers to better support their needs.
